The Passover sacrifice is only to be done in Israel at Jerusalem.

Updated: Mar 15

Deu 16:2 You shall therefore sacrifice the Pecach unto Yahuah Elohayka, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahuah shall choose to place his name there.

Where is the place YaHuWaH chose to put His Name?

The place we are supposed to keep the Passover?

2Sa_7:13  He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Deu 16:6 But at the place which Yahuah Elohayka shall choose to place his name in, there you shall sacrifice the Pecach at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Mitsrayim.

1Ki 5:5 And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of YahuWaH my Elohim, as YaHuWaH spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto My name.

The Men who carried Joesph casket out of Egypt were unclean and therefore couldnt keep the Passover. They sought out Moses and ask him what they were to do, Moses ask YaHuWaH what should be done so the men could observe Passover and this is When YaHuWaH allowed for the 2nd Passover and for 2 reasons only, one if you came in contact with a dead body and Two if you were not in the land of Israel, where the tabernacle was, the temporary house for The Name of YaHuWaH.

Num 9:6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:

Num 9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of Yahweh in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

The Men who come in contact with the dead body needed time to be cleaned.

Num 19:11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

And the travelers need time to get back to the place where YaHuWaH put His Name.

Passover is called a sacrifice not a feast, that is the feast of unleavened bread that starts at the dawning of the new day. The Passover begins at twilight, and only last for a few hours, and must be eaten in haste.

Exo 12:14  And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to Yahuah throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

Exo 12:15  Seven days shall ye eat matstsah; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats chamets from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Yashar’el.

This is the Feast we are to Keep no matter where we are, for only the Passover has rules about eating it in the land. As soon as YaH tells us to keep it as a memorial throughout our generation, as a feast by ordinance forever, he instructs us how to keep it.

People dont want to give up the pagan feast of Easter because they enjoy the gathering, activities, and such, even though it's pagan and against the Torah.

How odd is it that the same people who speak against the easter keepers can't see YaHuWaH words and instruction about only keeping Passover where He chose to put His Name, and backs it up with the rules for travelers, yet keep it anyways.

The Passover is called a sacrifice, not a feast, the flesh we are to eat is of the Messiah, as is the blood of His sacrifice. He came to fulfill this law, not do away with any of them. Shortly after the Messiah laid down His life, the Temple was destroyed, and the house for the Name of YaHuWaH was no longer made of stones, but of His Children.
